Finally got the sea trial in yesterday. It went very well, I was really impressed with the boat overall. Looks like its a done deal, so I guess I can go ahead and post a pic. I'll try to get some better ones later.

Congrats. Well you be running out of Ocean city as well. We run out of IRI and fish the same grounds. I seen that boat before, nice looking rig

No, i'll be running out of Norfolk, Va. The boat just happened to be located in Ocean City. Hopefully i'll have it moved down south by early April.

Not 100% sure. I didnt have GPs for the sea trial. It seemed like it was in the 30 mph range running about 3200 rpm. Once i get all the electronics in stalled and take delivery i'll be able to get some more definite numbers.

I figure it would be more like 30kts. our old boat had 200 hp volvos and cruised at 25kts

It may turn out to be around 30kts. Like I said that was just my best guess without any gps to give the real numbers. Literature states 28kts cruise at 14 gph. I'll have to see what the reality ends up being.
